Guided Meditation and Guided Imagery
Guided meditation is a form of meditation where an individual is verbally guided into a state of consciousness either by a person’s voice or by a recording of a voice, this may include the use of music. This practice of meditation requires an individual to follow instructions that assist the individual to relax the body, clear the mind, concentrate on breathing, and focus one’s awareness and attention. Meditation is often used to clear the mind and ease many health issues*.
